Privacy

ccgrapher is an artfusion project. This page says what the plugin, the command line tool and this website do with data. The first two collect none. The website counts visits to its home page only if you allow it, and the sections below say what that involves.

The ccgrapher plugin

The plugin is a skill that runs inside Claude. It sends no data anywhere, stores nothing, and does not read your conversations or files beyond the plan you give it.

If you agree, it can run the ccgrapher command line tool to check and draw that plan. That runs npx @ccgrapher/cli at a fixed version, which downloads the package from the npm registry and runs it on your own machine. That download is the only network activity involved, and it is governed by npm's own terms and privacy policy.

The command line tool

The tool runs locally and has no telemetry. It does not report usage, errors or anything else to us. The commands the plugin uses, lint, plan and render, read the plan file and write their result to your terminal or to a file you name, and make no network requests. Other commands act on what you point them at: retro, for example, reads a repository's history through your own GitHub access, and serve listens on your own machine.

This website

The website, ccgrapher.artfusion.com, is a static page. It has no accounts, no forms and no cookies of its own. Only the home page counts visits, and only if you allow it. The changelog and this page do not.

The home page asks first. Until you accept, nothing is sent to Google or Statcounter and no visitor ID is stored in your browser. If you accept:

  • Google Analytics receives a page view: the page address and title, the page you came from, your browser language, your screen size, and a random identifier. That identifier is kept in your browser's local storage so repeat visits can be recognised. It is not tied to your name or email address.
  • Statcounter receives a small image request, which carries the page address, the page you came from, and the technical details every web request carries, including your IP address and browser type.

Separately, and whatever you choose, the home page and the changelog ask api.github.com for the project's release notes, from your browser. GitHub therefore receives your IP address and the usual request details.

Your choice. Your answer is kept in your browser's local storage under _af_consent, with the date. If you decline, nothing else is stored, and any visitor ID left by an earlier visit is removed. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, that counts as declining and the prompt is not shown. To change your mind, use Privacy choices, which clears your answer and takes you to the home page to be asked again. The same control is in the footer of the home page.

None of this runs when the site is opened from a local machine. We use the analytics to see how many people visit the home page and where they come from, and for nothing else. We do not sell the data or combine it with anything else.

Who holds the data, and for how long

Google, Statcounter and GitHub hold what they receive under their own retention settings and privacy policies. We see only the aggregate reports they provide. To ask what, if anything, is held about you, or to ask for it to be removed, get in touch using the contact below.

Children

ccgrapher is a tool for people who build software. It is not aimed at anyone under 18.
